Boone’s Colonial Policies
Day of Arrival:
Call the Inn number 30 min before arrival time. We are within 20 min of the Inn. But we do need to set a time to greet you. Call or text 314-575-2925
Our guest entrance is at the BACK of the building. Enter the public alley to reach the Inn. Our main common doors stay locked at all times for all of our guests comfort and safety as we are in a busy active retail/dining area. We permit vehicles according to rooms as we monitor our lot. Early arrivals must contact the Innkeeper to park. We actively tow vehicles not permitted so that our guests may have parking. Large vehicles or large trucks may not fit in our lot. One vehicle per room.
Breakfast at Boone’s Colonial Inn is a private affair. Since we are a boutique Inn, we are NOT a traditional bed & breakfast. If you’re not a morning person, that’s O.K. Rates quoted via telephone OR online are quoted without any breakfast meal or other meals. We generally quote rates or explain area cafe options via telephone so if you are unsure of our policy please inquire. Your email confirmation will also explain there is no meal served with the room.
If breakfast is a must have option, then check availability at our sister property, Boone’s Lick Trail Inn, offering a traditional bed and breakfast experience. You can experience traditional breakfasts with many other guests at a traditional one time seating. All the guests rave of Linda’s cooking and “stories”. She is sure to please even the grumpiest of non-morning folks with a boisterous morning to get you moving. Again please let us know if you have questions about our policies.
We ask that as a small inn, you understand our need for ample notice of cancellation. A full refund will be made if notice of cancellation is given at least 10 days prior to a Friday and/or Saturday night reservation and 14 days prior to stay during holidays, festivals, special events or any night during October or December. A minimum of 5 days cancellation notice is required for Sunday through Thursday night reservations.
For cancellations made after the required deadlines a refund, less a $65.00 service charge, will be made if the inn is able to rebook the accommodations. We sincerely appreciate your patronage, so please inquire if you have any questions regarding this policy. You must CALL to cancel a reservation via telephone. Cancellations can NOT be made via the booking engine or online or via email.
We are a FULLY non-Smoking Inn. Smoking is allowed outside in designated areas only (no smoking on balconies or porches). If it is determined by the innkeepers that smoking has occurred in the room or these areas, a $400 cleaning charge will be added to the credit card.
Bridal/Groom Parties or Group Stays:
The room you have reserved is for two people. Maximum 3ppl by prior fee arrangement when booking. We want you to enjoy your day however, the rooms are not large enough nor do our insurance requirements allow for wedding parties to get ready before ceremonies in rooms with multiple people. We offer several common areas for a fee for this activity. Please inquire if you need a space other than the room to ready for a ceremony or event.
Children are welcome:
No childcare provided. Additional fee for extra persons in room ages 2 and up. Rate is based on double occupancy. If a cot is needed please contact us.
Consumption of alcohol is permitted (Bring your own).
Open all year round. Thanksgiving Day, Christmas/New Years limited housekeeping services. Discounts available for corporate guests (single occupancy). Please inquire via phone.
Check In time is after 3:00pm and by prior arrangement by speaking with the Innkeeper and Check Out time is 11:00AM. An additional hourly check out may be arranged for $75 subject to room availability. Or an early check in may be available for a fee depending on room availability.
